Access Your Tasks from Anywhere

Happy February, Siasto users!

Do you constantly remind your friends how much you love productivity? Do you have dreamy thoughts about streamlining your workflow? Does the idea of managing tasks make your heart skip a beat? If you answered yes to any of the above, you may need to seek professional help. But in the meantime, we have the perfect Valentine's Day gift for you: the ability to track your Siasto tasks from any site on the web!

Access your tasks from anywhere on the web.

I'll be the first to admit it – sometimes I want to access my tasks without having to open up Siasto in a new tab. For example, when I'm checking my Gmail. Or when I'm browsing Amazon for men's slippers.

To that end, we've developed a new browser plugin that we're calling Siasto Tasks.. With it, you can manage you and your teammates' tasks from literally anywhere on the web.

To get started, simply download the app from the Chrome Web Store. You'll notice a new icon appear to the right of the location bar in your browser:

Click to toggle the task pane.

Clicking on the icon will reveal the Siasto Tasks pane on the right side of whatever website you happen to be viewing. To hide the pane, click the icon again. You can also resize the pane by dragging the left edge.

Once you've opened up the pane, it's simply a matter of logging in, and all of your tasks across all of your projects in Siasto will be right at your fingertips. You can search, filter, create, edit, and delete tasks to your heart's content.

So, what's next? We're still far from done with the plugin, as there are some great features we'd like to add. For starters, it's only available for Google Chrome right now, but we plan on bringing it to other browsers as soon as possible.

Happy tasking!

P.S. For any developers who may be reading, this browser plugin was built using the brand new Siasto API. Definitely check it out and let us know what you think. If you develop an application, we'd love to feature it on our blog!
